Cleveland Here We Come
For a couple of months now we have been contemplating making a trip to Cleveland to visit a doctor who specializes in neurology pertaining to movement. One of the Drs at the center we visit regularly, worked at the Cleveland Clinic under the specialist there. While at the hospital last week, we told her we were willing to make a trip and she gave us the contact info a couple of days later.
Well, I just got off the phone with Mrs. MMJ and shae said e have appointment set up early next month. I was happy with the news, but the first thing that came to mind was the expense. We are willing to do what is best for our little one, but where is this money coming from? I guess the budget will be a little skewed for January.
A quick scan of one Hotwire revealed an average price of $1000.00 for a 2 night stay with airfare, hotel and car rental. Ouch! I better start looking into better discounts. The good thing is that the little one has state medical assistance. It does cover most medical costs. For out of state expenses, it covers those that are not available in state. I also have plenty of time off available, but the Mrs. is paid hourly, so we will be missing those $$.
