PayPal Money Market Fund
Posted on December 11th, 2007 by mmj
I have a few dollars in my PayPal account and expect to keep any of my online earnings there. The earnings will be coming from rewards programs such as eBates and FatWallet as well as from affiliate programs such as Adsense and WidgetBucks. This money probably won’t be touched any time soon, so I wonder if opening a PayPal Money Market Fund is a good idea.
Currently, the fund yields over 4.5%, which is comparable to other MM funds. If there is anyone out there who uses PayPal in this way, please chime in on the pros and cons of this idea.

Yes ABSOLUTELY open the money market fund. Your money is just sitting in PayPal doing nothing right now so why not make it work for you?
You will still have access to the money like if it was not in the MM account. I opened mine long ago and I love seeing the interest it gains.
You might want to look into getting an ING account too if you don’t already have one. I can give you a link to use and they will give you a $25 bonus for opening the new account through my link.
Thanks LuLu. That’s what I needed to hear.
