A Long Dr’s Visit and A Free Lunch
We took the little one to the Children’s Hospital for 2 appointments today, 11am and 12pm. The 12pm Dr was running late. How late? Well, when the medical assistant went to check when he would be ready, she came back with a $15 lunch voucher to the cafeteria.
This turned out well since we usually end up at Au Bon Pain after the visit anyway. Boy can that place be expensive! So we ended up saving about $15, accept for the $1.60 we spent on the chocolate dipped macaroon at Au Bon. Can’t beat the desserts there.
So how late was the appointment? Well, the doctor did not come in until 2:30. He is worth the wait though. We are pleased with him because he takes his time and relates problems very well.
Cleveland is on Friday this week. If the wait is that long, we may have to leave on Saturday. That would not be fun!
