Posts I Enjoyed Reading This Week: Investing Edition
Posted on February 18th, 2008 by mmj
I have been away from this site for a few days. We spending some catchup time with the family and work. The little one is doing better. She is drink much more than before, which is a godsend. We will find out this week about her weight and when the endoscopy will be done. Thanks to all for your helping prayers!
I did manage to sneak in some reading last week, so here are a couple of favourites.
- MyMoneyBlog answers the question: What’s The Best Broker To Start My Roth IRA? We split our IRAs between T.Rowe Price and TD Ameritrade. I like both companies for their different offerings.
- MyInvestingBlog discusses Should I buy a loaded mutual fund? When we were young and not so financial savy, we fell in to the Loaded fund trap. luckily I was able to get us out quickly.
- GatherLittleByLittle answers What do I do when my 401k is losing money? I have learned to stay the course. The 401k is spread out with an indexed portfolio that is balanced quite well.
That is it for last week. Enjoy and God Bless.

Thanks for including my article. Glad the little one is doing better and great to see spending time with your family is a priority.
Many people fall for the people trying to SELL you a mutual fund. They should be INVESTED in, not sold; nixxing the whole “loaded fund” question…
Thanks for reading!
