Posts I Enjoyed Reading This Week: Not Spending Money Edition
Posted on February 25th, 2008 by mmj
I saw a few good articles on changing spending habits, so I thought I would share.
- CashMoneyLife discusses not being an early adopter in Blu-Rays DVDs Will Dominate the Market - But don’t Buy Just Yet! . I used to be in the early adopter category, but now find myself waiting for 2nd and 3rd generation versions of products. This saves on money and headaches.
- Mrs. Micah discusss her spending habits in Then It Hit Me: We Don’t Buy Stuff…. She has some simple rules that she follows and has paid off for her.
- The Penny Saved discusses auto savings in Saving money on car . The $100 on the oil change seems to be a high average, but maybe he lives in a high cost area. The ideas are pretty good though.
That’s it for this week. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the shoutout! And to be honest my area isn’t too high cost an area the dealer is just an absolute rip off. The typical jiffy lube oil change here is $39.
