March Budget Final
March was a semi-successful month. It is a tough birthday month(3), but we made it through really well. As we go along, we learn to balance priorities. This month we sacrificed entertainment to offset gifts. Gas was tough as well last month. The weather has been crummy and it took a little more than normal to warm up the house.
This month was also the first to see the effect of the new home equity loan. Even though the large debt is still there, it feels great to meet payments without adding to the debt. This was the first time in over 2 years that we did not have to rely on our credit cards to pay for daily things. It feel WONDERFUL to pay cash for groceries.
Well, we did not make our goal of being in the positive this month, hence the semi-successful designation. We are still paying off the remnants of our last credit card balance, which should end in April.
