Cheap but Effective Mother’s Day Gift

Mother’s Day can turn into a mini Christmas event if we are not too careful. Somehow, over the years, we have gradually been including more mothers into our gift exchange. This has sent costs into the $200 range easily. Ridiculous, if I may say so.

This years we decided that framed pictures were a great idea. This is where my new found photography hobby came in handy. We took advantage of a recent birthday event to get pictures of all the mothers in some nice poses. I processed them on my computer and sent over to PhotoWorks (more on them later) for printing. A 5×7 print costs $.99 and a frame from a local discount store is $3.99, so for $5.00 we have a gift that will last a lifetime.

Why PhotoWorks? First off, let me say that I currently get no money from endorsing them. I have tried other services in the past, Walmart, Shutterfly, CVS, Walgreens etc. PhotoWorks has provided the best quality out of the lot and I do not hesitate to recommend them. I bet that once we distribute the gifts on Sunday, that PhotoWorks will be getting some more business.
